Black Canyon Restorations was created eleven years ago after Scott decided to leave corporate America and work for himself.  What started as just "playing" in the studio with various materials and ideas has now become a successful business that continues to grow every year.  Owners Scott and Ann Lundquist come from diverse backgrounds and lifestyles. Together they make beautiful, functional, and unique pieces of art.

Scott was born and raised in Idaho and started working with wood and vintage cars at a young age in his Dads' shop.  His love of antiques, vintage cars and anything mechanical, plus more than twenty years of experience with restoration work have led Scott to apply his knowledge and skills to design, create, and build Black Canyon’s signature art pieces.

Ann grew up on a small farm in upstate New York, where she learned to love the outdoors and open spaces.  Her traveling spirit and interest in photography brought her to Idaho, where she received a BA in Graphic Design.  Ann uses her “eye for color” to keep Black Canyon's products trendy and stylish, which creates Black Canyon's signature look. 

"We try to salvage as much material as possible before it goes to the landfill.  We use old windows and doors, molding, glass, hardware, stove parts, bed frames, barn wood, railings and many other materials that we incorporated into the design and assembly of our products.”  Combining vintage tin and salvaged materials to produce art that is functional, unique, and original is what Scott and Ann strive to do.
